A California non-profit engaged for the past 50 years in the treatment and recovery of adults with primary substance use and co-occurring disorders alcohol or other drug problems.
Originally based in Contra Costa County, Bi-Bett now operates residential and outpatient programs in Alameda and Solano Counties, as well as Recovery Residences.
The Bi-Bett Mission:
To provide effective andaffordable human services to individuals, families and communities with alcohol and drug related problems in the belief that everyone has value and can grow through change if given one's rightful opportunity to choose.
Our goal is to create culturally appropriate alcohol and drug-free environments in which one may experience personal and social growth.
The Case Manager will provide Case Manager Services to more than one program and as defined in the Drug MediCal-Organized Delivery Solutions Waiver under the direction of the Director of Residential and Detox Services.
These services will be provided while the Drug MediCal beneficiary is in treatment.
The Case Manager will assist the beneficiary to access needed medical, educational, social, prevocational, vocational, rehabilitative, or other community services.
Case management services will be provided face-to-face with the client.
Case Management services will include:
Identify individual needs by utilization of client assessments and problem list through Electronic Health Record (EHR) or paper charting.
Coordinate client's transition to a higher or lower level of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) care as determined by American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) placement criteria and medical necessity.
Development and periodic revision of a client plan.
Communication, coordination, referral and related activities.
Monitoring service delivery to ensure the beneficiary access to service and the service delivery system.
Monitoring the beneficiary's progress.
Patient advocacy, linkages to physical and mental health care, transportation and retention in primary care services.
Case management will be consistent with and shall not violate confidentiality in accordance with 42 Code of Federal Regulations.
Signed Release of Confidentiality forms will be in place when transitioning the client to another level of care to assure a smooth, supportive transition.
The Case Manager will work in coordination with the Program Counselor/LPHA while the beneficiary is in treatment and with the staff to continue support after program departure.
The Case Manager will participate in the County weekly Case Management Care Coordination Clinical meetings.
Case Manager will keep accurate record of sign-in sheets when meeting clients.
Case Manager will be responsible for Target Case Management (TCM) billing claims using Electronic Health Record (EHR) and/or paper recording systems.
Case Manager will be responsible for accurate documentation of progress notes validating billing elapsed time and services provided.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
